The Rich Marik Junior Golf Academy

The Rich Marik Junior Golf Academy

The Rich Marik Junior Golf Academy, located at Metropolitan Golf Links, has the information and teaching techniques that have been proven successful by junior golfers on all levels. By building golf swings and golf games from the ground up students have a solid foundation to continue to improve. Whether the goal is playing on the high school team or playing on the national level and earning a college scholarship, the Rich Marik Junior Golf Academy can help parents and junior golfers succeed.  Utilizing the techniques and training they pass on, more than 150 junior golfers have gone on to play college golf after working directly with Rich Marik and his staff.

Here is an opportunity for junior golfers and their parents to get involved in a program run by one of the most successful junior instructors in the country, Rich Marik, National Director of Instruction for Nike Golf Schools and Jr. Camps and director of the Nike Junior Golf Camps at Pebble Beach. Over the past 20 years Rich has taught hundreds of juniors that have gone on to play college golf and beyond. Rich is ranked as one of the Top 50 Kids Teachers in the US and is responsible for helping to build many junior golfers who have become nationally ranked players. Along with his impressive teaching credentials Rich also had a successful playing career winning the 1982 USGA Jr. Amateur, ranked number #1 junior golfer in the US by Golf Magazine, and earned a full scholarship to Stanford University where he was team captain of the Stanford Men's Golf Team.

The Player Performance Program - 3 Hours of Instruction for $100!

The Rich Marik Junior Golf Academy offers a core instruction program, The Player Performance Program taking place each Saturday from 8:00am to 11:00am, additional class times will be added as enrollment grows. For a per-session fee of just $100 students receive 3 hours of instruction covering all aspects of the golf game with special focus on full-swing development and short game skills and strategy. The group setting and three hour block of time allows the instructors to go into much more detail then they could during a private lesson. In depth explanations, discussions on strategy and course management will be a larger portion of the learning, allowing students to understand their golf game better and have tools that directly contribute to lower scores. The academy staff will also be available as a resource for parents who have questions about junior golf and especially college golf.

Player Performance Program classes fill up quickly, to maintain the student to teacher ratio and the high level of personal attention the classes are limited.
